1967 Pontiac GTO

1967 Pontiac GTO for your consideration. Finished in a Metallic Red exterior and a Black interior. This is a rebuilt all matching number 400ci GTO with a 4-speed manual transmission. All the chrome was replaced during the restoration and the rear end was originally a 390 that was swapped out for a 350. This Pontiac had a full restoration leaving no nut or bolt left untouched. This GTO features a new gas tank, new exhaust, new Redline tires, new battery, working heat, painted underside, full-size spare, and many more brand new parts. The sheet metal is also all original on this Pontiac and was never tampered with. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Dont hesitate to give us a call with any questions or for more information. The Pontiac GTO is an automobile that was manufactured by American automaker Pontiac from 1963 to 1974 for the 1964 to 1974 model years, and by GMs subsidiary Holden in Australia for the 2004 to 2006 model years. The first generation of the GTO is credited with popularizing the muscle car market segment in the 1960s. The Pontiac GTO is considered by some to have started the trend with all four domestic automakers offering a variety of competing models. For the 1964 and 1965 model years, the GTO was an optional package on the intermediate-sized Pontiac Tempest. The 1964 GTO vehicle identification number (VIN) started with 82, while the 1965 GTO VIN started with 237. The GTO became a separate model from 1966 to 1971 (VIN 242¦). It became an optional package again for the 1972 and 1973 intermediate LeMans. For 1974, the GTO was an optional trim package on the compact-sized Ventura. The GTO was selected as the Motor Trend Car of the Year in 1968. The GTO model was revived from 2004 to 2006 model years as a captive import for Pontiac, a left-hand drive version of the Holden Monaro, itself a coup variant of the Holden Commodore.
